Finding your size
Most of our boots fit true to your regular shoe size. A new pair of western boots should feel snug across the top of your foot, with a little heel slip (about 1/4 inch). The heel slip goes away as the boot breaks in.
Widths
Men's: B = Narrow, D = Medium (standard), EE = Wide, EW = Extra Wide.
Women's: B or M = Medium (standard), C = Wide. FM means a wider calf (shaft), not a wider foot.
Kids' sizes
Toddler, Child (little kid) and Youth (big kid) sizes run separately from adult sizes.

Ariat's Double Down is a men's western boot that pairs a genuine caiman belly foot with a dark brown full-grain leather shaft. The 13 inch shaft carries a nine-row stitch pattern with a heavy decorative stitch down the center, over a wide square toe and 1.5 inch horseman heel. Because exotic leathers vary, no two pairs are identical.
Ariat's ATS technology gives lightweight support on uneven ground, and a removable Pro Performance insole adds cushioning and shock absorption. The boot is leather lined and built on a resoleable Goodyear welt.
