Size & Fit Guide

Finding your size

Most of our boots fit true to your regular shoe size. A new pair of western boots should feel snug across the top of your foot, with a little heel slip (about 1/4 inch). The heel slip goes away as the boot breaks in.

Widths

Men's: B = Narrow, D = Medium (standard), EE = Wide, EW = Extra Wide.

Women's: B or M = Medium (standard), C = Wide. FM means a wider calf (shaft), not a wider foot.

Kids' sizes

Toddler, Child (little kid) and Youth (big kid) sizes run separately from adult sizes.

Constructed with DRYShield™ technology for waterproof breathability, these Ariat 10050840 Men's Shock Shield Logger boots feature full-grain leather, an All Day Cushioning insole, and a 50% recycled polyester lining. The Goodyear welt construction and oil- and slip-resisting Duratread™ outsole provide durability and stability, while the outdoor traction lugs with debris-releasing tread and 90° heel offer superior grip and safety. The composite safety toe is ASTM F2413-18 M/I/C EH rated and the boot is also ASTM F3445-21 rated for slip resistance, making these boots ideal for a variety of industries including building construction, landscaping, logging and forestry, oil and gas, railroad, road construction, utilities, and welding.
